New Beginnings
Wherever you are in the process of growing your family, you can benefit from support. Even before you begin trying to have a child, when you just have that spark of an idea that you want to have one, you’ve already started shifting your identity and your relationship with your partner. Building a family is truly life-changing. I understand how important it is for women and couples to have support when they are taking on new roles as parents. Each member of the family system needs to be healthy, nurtured, and connected.
I use a strength-based perspective that starts with the strengths you as an individual or a family already have and help you utilize these strengths to thrive. Relationships are the most important thing that we have, and I will help you strengthen yours to help you find your new normal. I love working with new families to help them maintain their sense of selves while preparing for or welcoming a new family member and new roles.
For new parents, I often make home visits or hospital/NICU visits to help you in those early days when it's difficult to find time for yourself. Please contact me to arrange a visit.
